A fundraiser for the Minnesota Educational Scholarship Fund, Inc (MESFI)

We are excited to announce a very important and easy fundraiser for the Miss Minnesota Scholarship Fund 
2023 TEXT TO GIVE, raising scholarships for women.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?
  1. Create your own profile on our "Give Lively" Platform
  2. Text a minimum of 15 people and ask them to make a tax deductible donation to the Scholarship Fund

WHAT IS THE GOAL?
The goal of this Text to Give effort, is to raise $20,000. To give you perspective, our 13 Teens raised over $9,000 for their state competition IN 2022!! 

TOP TWO FUNDRAISERS
The First and Second place fundraisers will win the following:

FIRST PLACE
Our first place winner will receive 10% of the total amount raised to further their education and passions! For example, if we raise $20,000, 10% is $2000 that is awarded to the contestant!

SECOND PLACE
Our second place winner will receive 5% of the total money raised!

IN ADDITION
Both of our top fundraisers will announced on stage, prior to competition starting, and be acknowledged in front of the audience and judges.

  4. Receive an email to access your GIVE LIVELY account
  5. Click the hyper link to confirm
  6. Sign back in
  7. Click: Confirm Creation of your Fundraising page
  8. Personalize your page with your photo and add a note why you are passionate about competing:

9. YOUR FUNDRAISING GOAL List your goal. We suggest you list at least a $250 goal

10. Upload your Profile Image. It can be any photo! You can also upload a ‘hero’ image.
IT'S THAT SIMPLE!
Once you have your account set, you can start texting friends and family with this link and ask them to consider making a donation to the scholarship fund. No donation is too small. If you get 10 people to pledge $25 each, you have made your goal.

You can also post your link to Facebook, or email to family members as well.

Winners will be announced on stage during the Preliminary competition to thank them for their hard work to help this program, and they will be interviewed LIVE on our social media by Rachel Evangelisto, Miss Minnesota 2022 on Friday, the day of finals.
