Brynn Olson, Miss Minnesota’s Teen, is a 17-year-old recent graduate of Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls. She was also a PSEO student attending Northland Community and Technical College. This fall, she will be attending North Dakota State University and working to obtain a degree in Marketing. She is the recipient of a $2,500 educational scholarship, and will represent Minnesota at the Miss America’s Teen 2025 competition.
For the talent portion of the competition, Olson performed a jazz dance to “Tough Lover.” She was Captain on her Dance Team and stays #MissAmericaFit by competitively dancing up to 10 hours a week! She has achieved Elite placement team for jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, ad kick. As Miss Minnesota’s Teen, Olson will spend the year as Minnesota’s teen ambassador at various events across the state. She will also promote her community service initiative, “BIO Girls: Beautiful Inside and Out.” “I want each girl to know it is okay to be beautiful inside and out,” said Olson. “Together, we’ll continue empowering girls, one step at a time.” Confidence for women can be a lifelong struggle and the expectations around that can cause insecurities. BIO Girls mission is to lose the limitations put around young women in our society so they can be stronger and happier. The program provides a learning journey spanning 12 weeks. The lessons explore topics of emotions, body image, relationships, and coping mechanisms. The program also focuses on exercise and movement to promote healthy habits and build confidence through strength. After the 12 weeks course, a 5k is completed and everyone feels a sense of accomplishment and ready to take on life's challenges. Brynn has been involved for the past 3 years and is a mentor, role model, and safe person to talk to. Her advice draws from personal experience and helps to strengthen their growth and resilience. Brynn is also an Academic honor Student, a National Honor Society inductee, and the Dance Team Captain. She was also featured in two Emmy nominated documentaries! Coming up, Brynn will compete for the title of Miss America's Teen by representing our state of Minnesota! More info to follow, but we cannot wait to cheer her on at the National competition!
