About the Miss Minnesota Opportunity!
We are seeking professional, excited, community-minded people who are interested in starting a local organization that will host a Miss Minnesota preliminary in your area.
What is the Miss America Opportunity? The public perception of Miss America is often that it’s a one-night telecast, but in reality it’s so much more. This unique opportunity is a year-round program of “Style, Service, Scholarship, Success and Sisterhood” – representing the four points of the Miss America crown, with the circle of the crown representing the sisterhood. Participants acquire life long skills while earning scholarships, meet other like-minded women, cultivate their own personal style, and engage within their communities. REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD BECOME A LOCAL DIRECTOR!!
Community representation:
Your representative will actively participate in community events and volunteer efforts, as well as participates in the Miss Minnesota competition in June, and possibly in the Miss America Competition if she wins the title of Miss Minnesota! This is a wonderful way for your community to be represented throughout the State of Minnesota.
Local Competition:
Your local organization will be instrumental in giving young women the opportunity to compete in your local competition. The winner will be committed to representing your community through their year of service and as they compete in the annual Miss Minnesota Competition. “Miss Minnesota” and “Miss America” is more than just a title. She is a woman who reflects a tradition of style, sophistication and service. It’s time for your town to have a representative! The event is fun and will bring your community together.
We will help you:
The Miss Minnesota Organization will guide you in the beginning process to get you started! If you are a positive person who is active in your community, you can do it. Your local will be an official local preliminary and you will have access to logo and marketing materials.
Partners:
The Miss Minnesota Organization has a rich history of empowering young women to achieve their dreams and goals. Larger than the young women who have held the title of Miss Minnesota is the volunteer team who dedicate their lives to ensure young women to have the opportunity to express their viewpoints, talents and accomplishments. These are expressed to Minnesota audiences not only the evening of the annual Miss Minnesota Scholarship Competition but also to the public at large during the ensuing year. We would love for YOU to join us!
