Aadhavi Natarajan is an aspiring business owner and lawyer. She loves helping out in her community and staying involved in her school, especially through her CSI, It Pay$ to Know: Teaching Youth Financial Literacy. She hosts workshops for kids between the ages of 7-12 to show them that financial literacy is key to success. Aadhavi was inspired to do this by her full-time, big-hearted, pageant mom, Gayathree Arun who is an accountant and business owner who taught her everything she needed to know.
When she isn’t building curriculums for her CSI or studying for an upcoming test for high school, she is practicing one of her various musical talents. She plays flute in her high school’s freshmen Honors Band, alto saxophone in the Wayzata High School Jazz Band Silver and in the Minnesota Youth Jazz Band. She is also a passionate singer and theatre kid who is always working on an audition for her school’s upcoming musical. Along the way in her musical journey she picked up the keyboard to teach herself ear training and to accompany her music theory studies. As well as in middle school she performed lead electric guitar and vocals in an alternative rock band, The Blizzard of Bad, with her friends where they played shows all around the twin cities. Aadhavi’s longest driven passion is her dance. She has been learning and performing Bharatanatyam (Indian Classical Dance) for 11 years (since she was three). She is so excited for everyone to see a part of her background and culture on stage this June! |
