A fundraiser for the Minnesota Educational Scholarship Fund, Inc (MESFI)
We are excited to announce a very important and easy fundraiser for the Miss Minnesota Scholarship Fund
2023 TEXT TO GIVE, raising scholarships for women.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
- Create your own profile on our "Give Lively" Platform
- Text a minimum of 15 people and ask them to make a tax deductible donation to the Scholarship Fund
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
The goal of this Text to Give effort, is to raise $20,000. To give you perspective, our 13 Teens raised over $9,000 for their state competition IN 2022!!
TOP TWO FUNDRAISERS
The First and Second place fundraisers will win the following:
FIRST PLACE
Our first place winner will split 10% of the total amount raised with their Local Competition. For example, if we raise $20,000, 10% is $2000. That means the candidate receives a $1000 educational scholarship, and their local competition receives a $1000, in honor of the candidate who won this first place award.
SECOND PLACE
Our second place winner will split 5% of the total amount raised in the same way.
IN ADDITION
Both of our top fundraisers will be interviewed LIVE on our social media on Friday afternoon, June 23 before Finals.
