My name is Rebecca Ogg, and I am incredibly honored and excited to serve as your Miss Moorhead 2027! I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent this wonderful community and to spend the next year getting to know the people, organizations, and families who make Moorhead so special.

My Community Service Initiative, "You Matter, " is dedicated to suicide prevention. Ensuring that every person knows they are seen, heard, valued, and never alone. Through advocacy, education, and connecting individuals with accessible mental health resources, I hope to help create a community where reaching out for support is
met with compassion and understanding.

I am especially excited to bring "You Matter" to the
Moorhead community and partner with local organizations,
schools, businesses, and community members to make
a meaningful difference. This year is about so much more than wearing a crown—it’s about showing up, listening, serving
and building genuine connections.
