Hello friends! I’m Bianna Jones, and I am so thrilled and honored to be your new Miss Anoka County 2026!
I am from Winona, Minnesota, and will be a senior at Winona State University studying Biology, on track to graduate with my Bachelor of Science in December 2025! I am also training and studying to become a Certified Medical Assistant and am planning to continue my education by getting my master's degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion. On campus, I am on the executive board and a member of the Zeta Eta Chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma, and am the president of our Fraternity/Sorority Council. My community service initiative, “Light the Way: A Kindness Movement,” is inspired by my own experiences with bullying and my passion for mental wellness. I believe that even the smallest acts of kindness—like a handwritten note or a smile—can create a ripple effect of empathy, inclusion, and connection. Through school collaborations, kindness projects, and social media outreach, I empower others to embrace compassion as a way of life and spark lasting positive change in all communities. When I’m not studying or working, I can be found spending time with my family, friends, and especially my cat, Potato, or hiking and walking around the beautiful lakes in Winona. |
