Amaya Raths, Miss South Central's Teen, is a senior at Morris Area High School. Next fall, she will be attending Lake Area Technical College to pursue her Associates Degree in Surgical Technology.

Amaya is a multi-sport athlete, softball captain, "A" honor roll student, and Unifiede P.E. Club President. As a leader and role model in her school, Amaya has strong core values that have taught her to lead by example and promote kindness.

Through her CSI "Let's Crush This: Anti-Bullying Awareness and Prevention", Amaya has spread her message of anti-bullying, kindness, and inclusion to thousands of students. Amaya continues to deliver buddy bags to school counselors throughout Minnesota, directly reaching the students who are most affected by bullying. Amaya is a member of a National Nonprofit Drumline called Sheltered Reality. She has traveled all over the upper Midwest drumming for town festivals, events, and performing at school shows. Amaya loves to speak with students and spread her message. Children become eager to listen and learn when they are engaged through Sheltered Reality's fun, energetic, and upbeat drumline shows.

In her free time, Amaya enjoys weight lifting, trapshooting, hiking, and camping with her family. Starting her journey at the age of 5, as a Northern Lights Princess, has provided Amaya a life-long bond with her Miss Rachel. Surrounding herself with strong woman for over 12 years, Amaya has the passion and drive for the Miss America Opportunity.
