![]() Breanna's platform is The TLC Challenge: Think, Learn, Create. Her goal is to get children and adults alike to enjoy learning once again. Because of the hands-on nature of engineering and her personal experience in the field, she teaches the three step thought process of an engineer that people can always use to make learning more fun:
1. Think about the situation. 2. Learn through investigation. 3. Create a solution. An honor student, Breanna enjoys learning about new topics, especially anything in math and English. She is involved in her school’s math and speech teams to spend more time in these areas. She challenges herself by taking Post Secondary Enrollment Options and Advanced Placement classes. She has enjoyed being in engineering, music, business, and service classes throughout her high school years. Breanna loves being active and spending time outside. She does this through playing soccer, gardening, and spending lots of time on the lake. Staying active at school, Breanna is a captain of her football and basketball cheerleading squads. A dancer for 13 years, she has developed a love for making other people smile through performances of her favorite style of dance, tap. She has been involved in her church youth group and likes spending time playing with and helping kids. Her career goal is to teach and coach children in the STEM field, so she aspires to obtain a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in education. She is looking forward to attending the University of Arkansas in the fall to pursue these goals. for 13 years, she has developed a love for making other people smile through performances of her favorite style of dance, tap.
