Devyn is 16 years old and is from Detroit Lakes. Her parents are Rob and Diane Ullyott. She comes from a large family and has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Devyn is currently a junior at Detroit Lakes High School where she has taken several college level classes.
She has received varsity letters in cross country, and has participated in dance for 13 years, 5 of those years competitively. One of her many goals in life is to get her degree of Doctor of Chiropractic, so she can one day become a chiropractor.
Hanna and Abby, her two older sisters, are her role models because they both are very successful in life, and also because they are very driven women. A few fun facts about Devyn are that she has once had the pleasure of dancing at Disney World with her dance team, and last summer she cared for several cats, five dogs, two rabbits, and three fish. She has also taught dance classes for Summit Dance School for the past three years.
Devyn plans on using her title to get out into the community and to promote her platform STOP Distracted Driving. She would like to get into her local schools to talk to the teens and staff about the dangers and consequences of distracted driving, as well as to promote the Miss America Organization.
