My name is Marissa DeVries, Mari for short. I am thrilled to be Miss Morris Area's Teen 2027!
I am currently a Junior at Morris Area High School. I compete on the swim and golf teams. I am also active in Girl Scouts, FFA, 4H, Student Council and Yearbook. After dealing with a shoulder issue for many years, I have been inspired to hopefully pursue education to become a physical therapist. My Community Service Initiative is Regulation for Resilient Classrooms. My goal is to provide resources for student regulation in the classrooms for teachers and staff. I am currently a certified Lifeguard and teach swimming lessons. In my free time, I enjoy camping, paddleboarding, and spending time with friends and family. |
