Anna Brennan, Miss Twin Cities, is a full-time student, published journalist, political enthusiast, and advocate for media literacy. Attending the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, she plans to pursue a career in law and media, combining a background in journalism and politics with ambitions to serve as a news anchor, Capitol Hill correspondent, or national campaign media strategist.
As she pursues a career in journalism, she recognizes the impact of modern media on society. Combining her media education and life experiences as a member of the digital generation, she advocates for media literacy education through her initiative, Media WELL. Since its creation in 2023, Media WELL has reached over 60,000 social media users and impacted over 400 elementary students in the state of Minnesota. When she is not in class or at her internship with Twin Cities Live, you can find Anna hosting her radio show, editing a vlog, dancing with @ustdanceclub, or training for her next half-marathon!
