 Minnesota's Northern Lights perform
during preliminary competition 


​Our Minnesota Northern Lights participate in fun activities during competition week.   They have a lunch and crowning ceremony; have a craft day, participate in rehearsals; learn their own production number, and perform on stage during various parts of the preliminary and final night competitions.  
Minnesota's Northern Lights- a part of Miss America's Little Sisters Mentoring Program introduces young ladies, ages 5 through 12, to the Miss Minnesota and Miss America Organizations before they reach competition age.  This program helps young ladies understand that Miss America is not just a dream, but something they can begin preparing for at a young age.  It allows them to work closely with the Miss Minnesota delegates who serve as role models and mentors through appearances, volunteer events, and service within their communities and state.

Registration Fees
$350 - New Northern Lights
​$250 - Returning Northern Lights
The NEW & RETURNING Minnesota's Northern Light registration fee includes:
  • 1 Ticket for Northern Light & 1 guest to attend Miss Minnesota & Miss Minnesota's Teen Preliminary nights Wednesday, June 17, 2026 and Thursday, June 18, 2026
  • 1 Ticket for Northern Light & 1 guest to attend Miss Minnesota and Miss & Teen Finals Saturday, June 20, 2026
  • Little Sister will be showcased with teen and Miss during on-stage productions
  • Little Sister Event-   Wednesday, June 17, 2026
  • NEW (only) Little Sister Crown and Northern Lights Little Sister Sash
    • *returning Northern Lights will bring their current crown and sash
  • T-Shirt
  • Mentorship with Miss Minnesota and Miss Minnesota's Teen contestants,

​Online applications are accepted when all paperwork is completed- including: submission of photo, required documentation, and registration fees. Once registration window is complete, you will receive information how to purchase additional tickets in a DESIGNATED SECTION at Treasure Island Resort & Casino when tickets go on sale.
