Jodi returns to the Miss Minnesota Board after a two-year hiatus; she couldn’t stay away. During this time, she opened a gown shop, The Elegant Edge, in Hutchinson, MN, where she lives. Her oldest daughter recently graduated from college and will begin working as a CPA at the accounting firm Eide Bailey in Minneapolis. Her younger daughter continues her studies in Veterinary medicine, specializing in Rural Medicine.
Jodi had been active in community festivals with their Royalty programs, beginning in 2002, before becoming involved with a Miss Minnesota local and then the State Board. She was herself a titleholder, Miss Minnesota Valley, in 1985. Jodi is an LICSW and works as a psychotherapist at the Hutchinson Health Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
