Children are the future of our communities, societies, and country. Because of this, it is imperative that we inspire them and expose them to leadership at a young age. Youth inspire us, change us, and give us hope for the future, so why don’t they lead us more often?
As a Key Club International Trustee, Emily has spent the last year working with over 270,000 high schoolers from across the world on their leadership skills, quality, and service abilities. Emily has also started an online community and organization called Project Hourglass that encourages pre- and young voters to get involved with local politics, children’s rights advocacy, and collaborative or “electric” leadership. She's spent that last nine years volunteering at local daycares growing up with, teaching, and inspiring our youth. With all of this combined, Emily is passionate about allowing our youth to grow, learn, and helping them become the best leaders they can be.
