Compete for Miss Minnesota's Teen with an At-Large Title
If you competed in a Local - At Large Fee is $650
 Enter Teen At Large "without" competing in a Local Fee is $850 
ALL fees are due at time of registration

Now that our Local Competitions are almost complete, we are excited to announce we are currently accepting At Large contestants for the 2026 Minnesota's Teen Competition. If you have previously competed and understand how the competition works; or if you prefer to prepare for the competition independently, competing 'at large' might be for you. Sign up NOW so you can begin your service work, refine your talent, and gain valuable experience leading to the State Competition.  We strongly encourage you to compete in a local competition first!

Steps to Register to Compete At-Large

We strongly encourage you to participate in a local competition first!
​​1)  MISS AMERICA PROGRAM SIGN UP
Every candidate now must first sign up with Miss America for a fee of $49.99. This gets you into the system and you will receive news and information to keep you up to date with Miss America as you begin your journey!

Once Link is open - click on Minnesota, then under the local competition tab, click on "At Large"
If this was already done in this competition cycle, this can be skipped.
2)  COMPLETE THE MISS MINNESOTA'S TEEN AT-LARGE APPLICATION
Tell us about yourself and kick off your Miss Minnesota's Teen experience!
​3) PAY THE 'AT LARGE' ENTRY FEE* (payment portal below) TO COMPETE AT THE STATE COMPETITION
Once you have paid your entry fee, you can download all of the paperwork and get started!
When You Compete At Large:
  • You become a member of the 2026 Miss Minnesota's Teen Class
  • Miss Minnesota's Teen competition will be held week of June 14-20, 2026 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino - information forthcoming.
  • You will be able to choose your local title and receive an official local crown and sash (allow up to 3 weeks for delivery)
  • You make your own decisions regarding your Community Service Initiative, your paperwork, wardrobe, talent, etc.
  • You will compete for the state title, and if you win, you will go on to compete for Miss America's Teen
  • You are required to attend Contestant Orientation on at Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch, Minnesota (near Red Wing).
  • You are eligible to apply for and win additional scholarships at the State Level
  • You pay an ENTRY FEE is due no later than February 28, 2026 (you will not be issued your title until fee is paid)
  • You may purchase the official crown for an additional fee, or you may use a crown you have from winning a previous official local teen competition​ within the Miss America/Miss Minnesota system.
  • All Teens must pay a $150 food fee to state due June 1, 2026.  This covers cost of meals during competition week.
  • At Large title ENDS at completion of Miss Minnesota's Teen 2026 in June.
​NOTE:  Application fee is non-refundable should you decide to drop out or can't compete for various reasons.

4) Register for the American Heart Association
~ You must sign up and pay $30 as a local At Large title
~ You must raise $300 to compete at the state competition.

Welcome to the 2026 Class of Miss Minnesota's Teen!
Once you are crowned, or receive your title, you will be assigned a Google Drive folder
​with all state paperwork and instructions.
