Eden Webb's platform is "Open Hearts, Open Homes: Helping Children in Foster Care." She has experienced the joys of helping children who are in need of respite and foster care. Since moving from Arkansas to Minnesota last year, she has been a babysitter in high demand in her Chanhassen neighborhood. She and her family are learning the process of becoming accredited to foster children in Minnesota.
Eden started her Minnesota high school career by joining her high school cheerleading squad at Minnetonka High School, where she is a sophomore and an honor student. As an accomplished dancer at her local studio, Dance Arts Centre, she will perform a dance routine at the Miss Minnesota's Outstanding Teen competition in June. She won talent contests as a singer and placed third in her soprano category at an all region choir competition. She performed starring roles in the Twin Lakes Playhouse and Arkansas Repertory Theatre. She was selected 3 times into the Arkansas Repertory Theatre's competitive Summer Musical Theater Intensive program. She has won awards for her photography and was on the journalism staff at her junior high.
She is learning American Sign Language at her school, enjoys family snow skiing trips and has even tackled the black diamond slopes. Being a former Diamond State Princess, she also loves to inspire young princesses at tea parties and other events.
Eden is the daughter of April and Eric Webb. She aspires to a career in pediatric health care.
