Emma’s platform, Staying Flexible to Reduce Injury - Juvenile Arthritis Awareness, stemmed from her own journey with Arthritis. Emma was diagnosed at 10 years old with Juvenile Arthritis. With the diagnosis came lots of treatments, various doctors and multiple physical therapy visits. The only that kept her joints mobile was dance. Emma has been dancing for 14 years. Dance is not only a way to express herself, but a great exercise. Dance helped keep Emma’s arthritis at bay and wants to share her story with others who suffer from Arthritis in hopes to bring comfort to them.
