Corrina is the 19-year-old daughter of Chris and Jay Swiggum of Prior Lake, MN. She is the “middle” child with an older sister, Chelsea that she admires and holds as her greatest role model. One of Corrina’s goals is to be that same kind of role model for her younger sister Caylie.
Corrina graduated from Prior Lake High School in 2015 and is now a Sophomore at St. Cloud State University where she is studying a degree in Mass Communication. She is planning to declare a second major in Advertising with hopes to have a career in the Public Relations Field.
Two of Corrina’s passions in life are singing and Martial Arts. She has taken her passion for Martial Arts further and has been an instructor for 5 years, passing down her love for Martial Arts to the kids she teaches.
Corrina has been studying Martial Arts for 13 years and has earned the level of 2nd degree Black Belt. With that training she has learned about personal safety and self-defense. Corrina has enjoyed having the opportunity to travel the state passing on some of that knowledge to assist others in learning ways to lessen their odds of becoming the victim of assault.
