Miss Waseca County Sleigh & Cutter 2009 is Molly Jewison.

Molly is the 21 year old daughter of Dan and Marie Jewison. She is a 2006 graduate of Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton High School. Currently she attends Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota and is working towards obtaining a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math and English. After Molly graduates she would like to teach at the Kindergarten to Second grade level. Eventually she would like to return to graduate school and get her Masters degree. In her free time Molly trains for marathons, enjoys reading, and plays the piano and guitar.

Molly’s platform is “Readers Today, Leaders Tomorrow.” She hopes to encourage children to read and make reading exciting for them. During her year as Miss Waseca County Sleigh and Cutter Molly will be visiting schools and different organizations to read and lead other reading centered activities that make reading fun!

About the Pageant

Miss Waseca County Sleigh & Cutter is a closed pageant. To compete, you must be a graduate of or current student in the Waseca County School District (Waseca, Janesville, or New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva) or the Waterville Elysian Morristown school district.
