Interesting Fact: Kathryn is the first Miss Twin Cities in the organization's history to share the title with her sister. Kari (Knuttila) Heisler was Miss Twin Cities 2001.
About the Pageant
Miss Twin Cities is an open local pageant held in conjunction with Miss Capital City. Contestants must live, work,
or attend school in the state of Minnesota to be eligible for either title.

Interesting Notes: 9 Miss Twin Cities have gone on to become Miss Minnesota in 17 years of existence. Lauren Green, Miss TC 1984 was 3rd runner up to Miss America 1985 and a talent preliminary winner; Nicole Swanson, Miss TC 2006 was a non-finalist talent winner at Miss America 2007; and Brooke Kilgarriff, Miss TC 2009, is the reigning Miss Minnesota!
