Miss Thief River Falls 2009 is Kaitlyn Maurstad

Kaitlyn is the 21-year-old daughter of Kevin Maurstad and Lujean Kewell of Argyle, MN. She is a 2006 graduate of Marshall County Central High School in Newfolden, MN and will be continuing her education attending Northland Community and Technical College in the fall of 2010, pursuing a career as a physical therapy assistant. Her career ambition is to work in a sports environment, helping injured athletes rehabilitate to get back into the game. She sang "Ave Maria" in Latin in the talent competition. Her platform is "Being Passionately Positive."
