MISS NORTHWEST

Lexy Okeson is Miss Northwest 2009!

Lexy is the 19 year old daughter of Charlie and Mickey Okeson from Detroit Lakes. She graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with a Practical Nursing degree at age 17 and will be continuing her nursing education this fall. Her goal is to become a Registered Nurse specializing in Obstetrics and Pediatrics. Lexy has been dancing for 6 years and performed a jazz dance to “It Happens” by Sugarland. She won the swimsuit and evening wear portion of the pageant. Her platform is Youth Development through 4-H.

About the Pageant

Miss Northwest is a closed local pageant. Eligibility is limited to those who live, work, or attend school in the northwest corner of Minnesota.
