Tiffany Gunderson is Miss North Metro 2009!

Tiffany will spend her year advancing her platform “Beauty Revolutionized". She has already begun by acting as a facilitator and advocate for the Uniquely Me! self-esteem program and working with the Girl Scouts of America. During her year as Miss North Metro, Tiffany will partner with Park Nicollet's Melrose Institute to volunteer and be an advocate for issues pertaining to body image and eating disorders.

Tiffany's goal for her year as Miss North Metro is to educate youth on the distorted idea of beauty that exists in today's society and promoted within the media. As an Advertising major at the University of Minnesota, Tiffany is well aware of the smoke and mirrors that are present in the media today and is dedicated to sharing this knowledge with young girls everywhere. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and ages, but the most important message of all, is that real beauty lies on the inside.
